Everything you need to know about our source purity, laboratory specifications, certifications, private labeling lead times, and global shipping.
Our salt is extracted directly from the primordial halite deposits located in the Mianwali district of Pakistan's historic Salt Range. These ancient evaporite formations date back over 250 million years to the Precambrian and Cambrian eras. Because the salt deposits were formed long before modern industrial civilization, they remain completely free from airborne pollutants, microplastics, heavy industrial effluent, and modern ocean contaminants.
The warm blush, terracotta, and deep pink hues are entirely natural and result from trace amounts of natural iron oxide (Fe), magnesium (Mg), potassium (K), and calcium (Ca) crystalized within the halite matrix. We never use artificial dyes, bleach, bleaching agents, or synthetic additives. Depending on your brand requirements, we can optically grade shipments from light peach to deep ruby red.
Pure rock salt is a natural mineral preservative with an indefinite shelf life when stored in dry conditions at ambient room temperature. Because it contains zero moisture and inhibits microbial growth, it does not spoil, decay, or expire. For retail packaging compliance in jurisdictions requiring a best-before date, a standard 3 to 5-year guideline is typically marked on pouches.
No. Commercial refined table salts typically contain synthetic anti-caking agents such as sodium ferrocyanide (E535), calcium silicate, or aluminosilicate. The Natural Salt delivers 100% raw, unadulterated halite minerals. For fine culinary salt, our precision air-drying and foil-barrier retail packaging keep the crystals flowing naturally without chemical interference.
Yes. All edible products, cooking tiles, and processing facilities operated by The Natural Salt are fully Halal and Kosher certified. Our mining and milling lines operate under strict Rabbinical and Islamic supervisory standards, guaranteeing zero contact with non-permitted ingredients or cross-contaminants. Full certification copies and batch audits are provided under NDA upon commercial request.
Yes. Every full container load (FCL) or commercial consignment is accompanied by a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis issued by an accredited food-safety testing laboratory. The COA details sodium chloride purity (typically 98.2% to 99.1% NaCl), moisture content (< 0.2%), water insolubles, and heavy metal limits (Lead < 0.5 ppm, Arsenic < 0.5 ppm, Mercury < 0.1 ppm, Cadmium < 0.5 ppm), fully conforming to Australian FSANZ, US FDA, and EU food safety standards.
For standard generic unbranded packaging (e.g. 25kg bulk sacks or stock clear bags), our MOQ starts from 1 pallet (approx. 1 MT). For fully custom-printed stand-up zipper pouches or printed retail carton boxes requiring custom rotogravure cylinder printing, our MOQ is typically 5,000 to 10,000 units per artwork, or a combined 20ft container load. Absolutely! Mixed Container Loads (FCL consolidation) are one of our core competitive advantages. You can consolidate 10 pallets of fine culinary table salt, 5 pallets of carved salt lamps, and 5 pallets of animal licking blocks on ropes inside a single 20ft or 40ft ocean container. This minimizes your inventory holding capital while broadening your product catalog immediately.
We offer precision milling into 5 distinct standard grades:
• Extra Fine / Powder: 50–80 mesh (ideal for seasoning blends, popcorn, chip coating)
• Fine Table Salt: 20–40 mesh (standard table shaker size)
• Granular / Medium: 1–2 mm (ideal for culinary finishing)
• Coarse Grinder Salt: 2–5 mm (engineered for refillable ceramic/acrylic table grinders)
• Culinary Chunks: 40–60 mm (for sole water solutions and decorative food presentation)
Standard commercial agricultural licks are pressed powders bound together with synthetic chemical glues and bitter molasses. When exposed to outdoor pastures and rainfall, pressed blocks dissolve rapidly into mush. In contrast, The Natural Salt livestock blocks are carved directly out of pure rock halite crystals. They are rock-solid, weather-resistant, do not melt in heavy pasture rains, and supply grazing cattle, horses, sheep, and goats with essential ionic electrolytes that improve milk production and coat health.
We supply natural carved cylinder and irregular blocks in 2–3kg, 3–5kg, and 5–7kg formats. Each block is drilled centrally and threaded with an ultra-durable, weather-treated natural jute or polypropylene suspension rope for easy hanging from stable fences, paddock rails, or barn stalls off the ground to avoid manure contamination.
Yes. We regularly supply sample testing kits (typically 500g of various mesh sizes, packaged in heat-sealed pouches with our laboratory COA) to verified corporate buyers, procurement managers, and food manufacturers. Samples are dispatched via DHL Express or FedEx directly from our operations desk.
We accommodate Incoterms 2020 including FOB (Karachi Port / Port Qasim) and CIF (Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne, Auckland, Montreal, Vancouver, New York, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Jebel Ali). Standard payment terms for first-time contracts are 30% advance deposit with balance payable against presentation of Bill of Lading copy, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C at sight) for multi-container framework agreements.
